i have what is probably going to be a really stupid and confusing question, but maybe some others are wondering as well! for example- when you purchase a birthday card from the store, they usually come in an envelope that matches and fits the card perfectly. do we just slide the birthday card into this envelope and write the address on it, or is it possible to put the card and its matching envelope into a different (for example, the yellow ones, or one of those bigger white ones ^^) envelope with nothing written on the actual envelope inside donghee will be receiving? just your username, instead of alice's address... wow this is worded awfully. :|

unless you guys are just giving him the cards without their orginal envelopes since i'm sure you want to check and make sure the contents are correct.... this seems pointless now. but the project is great so i'll add that in so this isn't too ridiculous. :(

We're going to give him the cards outside of an envelope, so he won't be opening them, just flipping the cards open to see the messages and designs. I know the envelopes that come with cards are cute, but we don't want some to have envelopes and some not to. So you can save money on getting an envelope and just reuse it to send the card to Alice ^^

He is Christian, so I don't see any harm if you wish too! ^^ (the only catholic member is Jongwoon, heechul and geng are athiest, and everyone else is christian ^^) Just make sure you have proper korean translation for it!

about the envelope, we can get any envelope ( doesnt have to be from the post office right?) and just write the address on it and send it? do we have to bring it to the post office to send or.. can we put it in a mailbox (the ones on the streets..)? will you receive it like that?

You can put it any envelope as long as you make sure the address is correct and your username is on the back.

You should be able to put it in the mailbox like that! I went to your profile and you're from nyc? I know in the USA if you send it like next week, it should get there in time that way. Just make sure you put about 5 or 6 stamps on there so they'll ship it ^^

^ Cupcakes with candles should be fine since it's nearly the same as a birthday cake. (:

And for your second question:

What MUST be inside the Birthday Card:
↘ You have to write (possibly in big characters): 신동 생일축하합니다 OR Happy Birthday, Shindong in Korean or English
↘ Under 신동 생일축하합니다 or Happy Birthday, Shindong you may write Happy Birthday in your native language:
↘ For example, in Spanish: "¡Feliz Cumpleaños!"
↘ Username @ sj-world.net ( example: ♬thea @ sj-world.net )
↘ Your city and country ( example: Los Angeles, California, USA )

The text "생일축하합니다" is Happy Birthday in Korean.

You can definitely send a donation with the card, but I would send a note with the card too saying that there is a donation inside. I'm sure all the cards will be checked by Alice anyway but just in case, a note would be great too. ^^

I found this and this in a google search. If you know which bible verse you want, it should be pretty easy to figure out which one it is in korean I think. I don't have time to read over the whole bible in korean and try to compare it to my bible though xD

If its just a letter, about 5-6 stamps should cover it. Or you can go get it weighed at the post office to be sure. Shouldn't be more than $3 if you ship it first class, and if you ship within the next week it should arrive in time ^^

Its okay if it has a little message inside, as long as its very simple english. ^^ Or you can cover up inside messages with a sticker or something if you don't think he'd understand it. We understand that on bought cards, it will be a bit difficult to find one without.
