SJ♥UNICEF  2010 Special ☆ UNICEF Donation ☆ WHAT & WHEN ㅡ ? The Staff and many SJ-World members have been wanting to donate to a good cause for a long time already. At first, we thought of doing it for the fan portion of our Birthday Projects, but we soon realized that the amount donated each time would have been too modest. Thus, as we wanted to be able to offer a bigger sum of money, we decided to postpone the idea and to organize this event on a larger scale. We would like to donate the total for Super Junior's come back in may! ♥ ☆ WHEREㅡ ? When we began to think of which association we should bless in particular, we all concluded that we needed something that is 101% trustworthy, and thus a worldwide famous organization would've been the best pick. Also, we all know how our boys have a soft spot for children (and we believe everyone else does too!), so we immediately set our mind on UNICEF. We would like to point out that we did see your suggestions in the Q&F forum about starting a project to donate to people who have been suffering due to the numerous catastrophic occurrings we saw in the news throughout the year (Philippines, Taiwan, Italy, etc). We really did want to help, but after having considered all the pros & cons, we realized that it wasn't feasible at that time. We hope that by donating to UNICEF ㅡ an organization which provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries ㅡ we can make up for our inability to do something when help was needed. ☆ WHOㅡ ? This donation will of course be given under Super Junior's name to the Korean branch of UNICEF (Official Site). We will use your future donations, as well as some money we have been able to save up thanks to either our past projects, yesasia purchases made through this link, the towels sales, and forum donations. The goal is set for a total of $2500, which is how much we would like to donate at least: should we receive less, we will try to compensate by using the money we saved (as mentioned above), whereas if we receive more, then we could really consider this project a success. ☆ HOWㅡ ? Participating is really easy! ► PAYPAL: you can use our Donation Tracker and select "SJ♥UNICEF" in the Goals Category. ► NO PAYPAL OPTION #1: you can donate by sending cash as always, all the information you need is here. ► NO PAYPAL OPTION #2: we're looking for responsible members ㅡ preferably: members who have been on SJ-World for long, Donators, or within the Staff too ㅡ who are willing to collect money from people in their own country, and then donate with paypal through our Donation Tracker. For example, as shown here, our Global Moderator Iya☆바보 is accepting donations from Philippines residents. Check out this post to see who you should send your donation to. Country Donations Since we know some users don't have Paypal but still want to donate for our UNICEF project, this should make it easier for everyone! This project donation is such a kind gift for Super Junior and young children!
It was a smart and good idea to choose Unicef to associate with ^^ I believe that we will surpass our goal, because of all the amazing donators we have here at SJ-WORLD!

Oh yay! A good project. ^^ I'll be donating probably next month then after the holidays are over. I have a friend who works for UNICEF in the US actually so that's kind of fun. lol

^^ This is such an amazing idea! Although I have been saving up money for Super Junior merchandise, I am willing to donate to this cause, as I know that it will be put into good use. Will be sending in concealed cash, although its risky, but if it reaches the SJ-World staff, it will be amazing!
